About

The Capital City Volleyball (CCV) league is Ohio's oldest gay volleyball organization. Our goal is to provide LGBTQIA+ and Allies the opportunity to play recreational and competitive indoor volleyball. CCV is about embracing everyone! From cultivating a culture where all players, regardless of skill level can bring their authentic self to the court! CCV is an inclusive, zero-tolerance league and expects that everyone is treated with respect and dignity.

CCV offers recreational & competitive league play year-round. Currently, CCV has two indoor seasons (Winter & Fall). Three divisions are offered for our leagues (B2, B1, and A). For more updates and information regarding open gyms, league registration and other activities, make sure to follow our facebook page (Capital City Volleyball) and Instagram (@capitalcityvball).

CCV sets itself apart by allowing players to sign-up as a team or as individuals. If you sign up and are placed in A Division, the division representatives will form teams to make sure they are as even as possible. If signing up as an individual for B1/B2 leagues, our division representatives will try our best to place you on a team that best fits your current skill level. We encourage B1/B2 teams to form their own teams if possible.

Regardless of what division you play in, make sure to attend any open gyms we host before the league registration deadline ends! Our goal is for all players to enjoy themselves, but to also gain some new skills along the way! If you have any questions, please reach out to the CCV Board at capitalcityvball@gmail.com.
